My idea is called Take Flight and its a game where the player plays as a paper airplane and causes chaos in the office place. I started with multiple ideas and narrowed it down to one.
I researched different styles of games and had multiple options. I liked the low to medium poly style so I think that’s what I would go for if I made my own game.
Elevator Pitch
Take flight is for people who enjoy time based challenges and are looking for a unique game experience. Take Flight will be primarily based on PC will the option to move to console so everyone can enjoy. Take Flight is a challenging game that rewards the player for exploring the world. The unique and fun world of Take Flight keeps the player interested and the replay-ability is endless. The only game that has some similarity is an old game called playground on the Wii. Its an outdated game on a outdated platform so the market is completely open. Take Fight Makes the player cause mischief within an office and it’s completely family friendly. The game has no violence so young children and adults can play it.

Audio Plan
For the game we are going to have basic music in the background. When the player equips a gadget, it will play a sound effect and when the gadget gets used it will play a unique sound based on what gadget is used.
There will be a few vehicles in the game however they will not have a realistic sound. They will have more of a toy mechanical sound such as turning cogs and a propeller sound.
There might be different music depending on where you are in the room however there is no direct threat/enemies so there is no need for intense music. The game is quite a fun and casual game so we want the audio to match that so the players can enjoy the experience.

Conclusion:
Overall the project slowed down a lot once we were working from home as transferring files and trying to get every team member online was challenging. We have made some progress with the core mechanics of the game such as a quest system however the environment has only had little improvements. We have had problems where team members computers have crashed while working on the project and that set us back so we have not been able to accomplish a full working game.
